PRESIDENT’S RECEPTION AND NEW ATTENDEE MEET & GREET
Tuesday night features a welcome reception with appetizers hosted by WMCA President Susan Duncan. New attendees are invited to a Meet & Greet prior to the reception to meet fellow clerks and be partnered with a “conference buddy.”
Meals are included in the full conference registration fee. This year we will provide the following meals:
Wednesday: breakfast, lunch and dinner
Thursday: breakfast, lunch and dinner
Friday: breakfast is on your own
Please indicate during registration if you have medically necessary dietary needs. Guest(s) may join you for conference meals but must be ordered in advance. Please select those meals under “Guest Registration” on the registration form and include payment with your registration.
CONFERENCE ATTIRE & BANQUET INFO
Conference & event attire is business casual. We recommend dressing in layers as March can be unpredictable. The annual banquet will be a black tie event in keeping the the dress rehearsal/theatre theme...think red carpet at the Oscars or Tony Awards. DJ Scott Passey, City of Edmonds City Clerk, invites you to dance the night away after the banquet.
Included in Wednesday night’s dinner festivities, we’ll have an onsite event with fundraising activities including a live auction. Please consider picking up an auction item to donate and help replenish WMCA’s scholarship fund!
All proceeds from the raffles & auction items are used for scholarship s to attend the WMCA and IIMC annual conferences, the Northwest Clerks Institute & Master Academy trainings. Make sure to buy a few tickets and support our clerks' professional development!
The hotel requires masks when indoors unless actively eating or drinking. Requirements may change and updates will be sent to attendees if needed.
