City Clerk, City of Issaquah

The nomination for Tisha was incredible and spoke to her dedication to the City of Issaquah as well as the many professional organizations she is affiliated with. The sheer number of contributors to her nomination spoke volumes about how respected and valued she is.

Tisha was nominated by her Mayor, Mary Lou Pauly along with many other staff members from the City of Issaquah, both in and out of the office of the Clerk.

In addition, there were letters of support ringing her praises from nearby entities and other professional associations. In the nomination, Mayor Pauly noted that,

“Tisha goes above and beyond by investing her time and energy in the professional development of others”.

The nomination points out that she looks for the strengths of staff and encourages their development. Tisha also shares her knowledge by providing education sessions at the Northwest Clerks Institute, WMCA Conferences, and regional associations.
