LODGING RESERVATIONSDon’t delay, make your reservations now! This year we have our main hotel and an overflow hotel and we recommend making your reservations as soon as possible. Rooms are blocked until 5:00 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2026 at $130.00/night plus taxes and fees. The ‘conference hotel’ is Springhill Suites which is attached to the conference center. Reserve online or call 509-820-3026 - mention you’re in the “WA Municipal Clerks Association” block. Room cancellations must be made more than 48 hours prior to day of arrival. The ‘overflow hotel’ is Hilton Garden Inn which is a short walk to the conference center. Reservation link coming soon! Room cancellations must be made more than 24 hours prior to day of arrival. Why should I book at the conference hotels? The hotel rates that the WMCA has negotiated include many benefits for you and for the WMCA. Based on the number of rooms in WMCA block of hotel rooms, the hotels provide complimentary meeting room space, and reduced food and beverage charges. These savings are passed on to attendees through WMCA inexpensive registration rates. If WMCA is unable to meet its room-block commitment because attendees are making reservations at other hotels, the hotels charge WMCA an attrition fee to make up the hotel's lost revenue. If this were to become a trend, WMCA would be forced to increase the registration fee and cut services. SPRING ACADEMY AND ATHENIAN DIALOGUERegister for Spring Academy or Athenian Dialogue on Tuesday, March 17th for a chance to earn 3 CMC or MMC “Education” points. Joann Tilton will lead the Academy class “Discover the Power of Presence”. WMCA’s own Kathy Linnemeyer will facilitate “Dust Bowl Girls” by Lydia Reeder. Please note: Advanced education is available to members only. Academy and Athenian Dialogue occur at the same time so you will only be able to register for one or the other. Breakfast is on your own and lunch is included in the add-on registration fee of $200 for the Academy or Athenian. Please note if you have medically necessary dietary needs during registration. **If you are only registering for the Athenian/Academy, the registration fee is $300 and includes lunch. CONFERENCE ATTIRE & BANQUET INFO Conference & event attire is business casual. March is always unpredictable weather in the PNW. We recommend dressing in layers. The annual banquet will be a fancy event – think sparkly cocktail party. Dressing up is NOT required to attend meals – this is just a fun twist on “what to wear to dinner”. Join us for a live auction, exciting raffle drawings, and plenty of opportunities to support your fellow clerks. Please consider donating an auction item to help replenish the WMCA Scholarship Fund — every contribution makes a difference! RAFFLES, SILENT AUCTION & WMCA STORE Your generosity fuels the future! All proceeds from the raffles, silent and live auctions, and WMCA Store purchases go directly toward scholarships for members to attend:
